 Aging Mastery Program Logo (1)


Aging Mastery Program® (AMP), is an innovative new health and wellness program. This fun and educational program helps you embrace the gift of longevity. During this 10-week program you will explore ways to improve health, strengthen economic security, make important decisions for the future and get more pleasure from life today. Sessions include information on navigating longer lives, exercise, sleep, healthy eating and hydration, financial fitness, medication management, advance planning, healthy relationships, falls prevention and community engagement. 

Singles and couples are welcome. Couples are encouraged to take this class together. Limited spots available.

When: Tuesdays, 4/14 - 6/16 

Graduation celebration 6/16 following class

Times: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Location: Centerview

Fee: $20

Memory Matters

Ever wonder if you are "losing" your memory...along with your glasses and why you went into that room? Here's an opportunity to learn more about normal age-related memory changes and some basic skills to improve your memory. The program will be led by facilitators from the Aging Mastery program and a medical specialist.

When: Tuesday 3/31 

Times: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Location: Centerview

Fee: Free, but registration is required

Register By: 3/17, 5 p.m.


Home Alone and On Your Own

Most kids say the idea of being home alone sounds "a little scary, but mostly fun." This class covers what to do in cases such as power outages, storms, stranger danger, how to know what a 911 emergency would be and, most of all, how to make alone time less scary and more fun. This program is for ages 7-12 and students are required to bring a sack lunch.

Babysitting Basics

Future sitters will learn how to market their business, as well as how to feed and diaper a baby, safety, growth/development, and what to do in case of choking or emergencies. This program is for ages 12-16. Students are required to bring a sack lunch and a baby doll.

Bridge Club

We are a new group of experienced bridge players. This club will be playing "Party Bridge," a basic form of Contract Bridge. This will be an organized bridge goup where commitment of play is needed. Every 4th Thursday, players will draw for partners and change partners each round, scoring for total pints at the end of play. Rules of Play will be distributed to ll participants. Bridge Games

An informal, social bridge group held twice a month. Lessons for beginners and tables for players. Bridge is a trick-taking card game that is played by four players in two competing partnerships. The game consists of four phases: dealing cards, bidding, playing and scoring. New to the Game? No Problem! All are welcome as we have experienced players ready to teach newcomers. Come join us for a FREE two hours of socializing and card playing every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Pins and Needles Sewing Circle

Come settle in for some sewing, knitting or crochet time. Room to spread out and exchange ideas and advice on any project you may be working on. No charge to participate but please pre-register before attending. All ages welcome.
