The Engineering Division is responsible for the management, design, construction, administration and review of all projects containing public infrastructure. This includes the water distribution system, the sewer collection system, the street network, the storm sewer system and associated facilities. In addition, the Engineering Division assists the Development Services Department through the planning process.
Division Responsibilities:
Design, estimate & oversee construction of Capital Improvement Projects
Ensure that the infrastructure, whether public or private, is constructed to the design standards of The City of Raymore.
Manage annual street maintenance programs, including asphalt overlays, curb repair, large-scale patching, and street striping.
Longterm, the Engineering Division is responsible for ensuring that future City infrastructure is targeted toward areas of projected growth, ensuring city ordinances and design standards match current
industry best practices.
