The Development Services Department oversees the planning and managing of the City's growth, including zoning and development review, permitting and building inspections, and code enforcement.

Department Responsibilities:

• Implementing and updating Raymore Blueprint 2045, the comprehensive plan.
• Administering and amending the Unified Development Code.
• Overseeing the development and plan review process
• Enforcing adopted building construction and property maintenance codes.

The Department also oversees the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping programs, as well as manages geographic and spatial information about the City.
