Here we go in year two! All competitors (entering chili) who register by Sept. 18 get a Raymore Chili Cook-Off t-shirt!
Join the Raymore Arts Commission at the Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) sanctioned Raymore Chili Cook-Off Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at T.B. Hanna Station, 214 S. Washington St.
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser go to the Raymore Community Foundation, the City's 501(c)3, to support the arts in Raymore.
Categories: CASI chili (traditional, no beans or fillers, just meat, spices and sauce. CASI chili must be cooked on site), Homestyle Chili (anything goes), Salsa, Wings and Jackpot Beans.
New in 2026: Youth Cookie competition category. This stand-alone category is for children ages 15 and younger. Bake cookies at home and turn in one dozen to the judging area by 12:30 p.m. Awards will be given to the top 3 scorers.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN! COOKS: Sign-in and set up starts at 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3.
Cooks will enter the park area from 58 Highway via S. Adams Street (one block west of Washington) and start filling in spaces from the south end of the street toward the north end. Volunteers will be on site at the corner of Adams and Maple to provide directions. Every effort will be made to keep you next to your requested neighbors– of course it helps to coordinate to arrive at the same time. Once cooks are done unloading, street parking is available on several streets surrounding the area of T.B. Hanna Station.
About the Raymore Arts Commission
The Raymore Arts Commission is in its eleventh year of working to bring residents and visitors opportunities to engage in art! The commission is made up of seven resident volunteers who are supported by the City of Raymore's Communications Department. The commission oversees a number of arts initiatives, including the procurement of permanent and temporary public art in parks and public spaces, the annual Power of Perspectives Art Competition and awards reception, an annual live music series at the Hawk Ridge Park Amphitheater, the Station Stop Art Party hands-on children's art festival and the Raymore Chili Cook-Off. The commission is also a proud sponsor of the 70+ piece Sounds of South Kansas City Community Band.
The Raymore Community Foundation supports special initiatives in four areas of the community: the Arts, Parks, Animal Control and Police.
