Pop-up Art Project: Relax in Raymore

Join the Raymore Arts Commission for its annual Pop-Up Art Project. New this year, we'll be awarding prizes in different categories! (Children up to age 10, Children 11-16, Adults 17 and up, and Businesses/Organizations.

We want you to show off your creative side in a fun and relaxing way. EVERYONE is invited to decorate, paint, mold, enhance and add their own twist to the classic Adirondack chair.

The big reveal will be Aug. 24, 2019, at the Summer Scene arts & music festival. All of the chairs will be on display at Centerview, 227 Municipal Circle, where visitors can vote on their favorite. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and interesting designs!

Participation is free. All you need is to purchase a chair or upcycle an old Adirondack chair! Fill out our registration form by Aug. 16 to be eligible for prizes.

Let's fill the park with awesome, one-of-a-kind Adirondacks! Bring your chair to Centerview before 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24. Voting runs from 6-7:30 p.m. SHARP, with winners being announced at 8 p.m.
