Join your neighbors & friends as we jump back into the strategic planning process.
Two years ago we hosted several community conversations and now we want to check in on our progress. We also want to know what makes Raymore home for you and how can we ensure every resident feels like they come home to more.

What will be discussed?
The City Council began an in-depth strategic planning process in the fall of 2015. As part of that process Council members developed several central themes that focused on community identity; public safety; parks and public spaces; and economic development.
These themes formed the foundation for the three successful community conversations held in the winter of 2016. Using the feedback and information from those public meetings, the Council adopted a citywide strategic plan to help guide the community for the next 5-10 years.
Now we want to hear from our residents and community partners about how well that plan is working.
Should we go a different direction when it comes to our parks amenities? Are we providing the level of public safety services our residents expect? How can we better plan for additional economic development opportunities? These and many other questions will be key to our discussion on Oct. 1.
Dinner and child care provided
We know you are busy, which is why giving up an entire evening can be tough.
We want to make it as easy as possible by providing dinner to all participants.
Our Parks & Recreation Department will also be proving child care services during the event so you can be focused on the conversation and your children can have fun with our Summer Camp Counselors.
Children in kindergarten and older are eligible. Be sure to indicate if you would like to sign up for this free service when you RSVP.
