Raymore-Peculiar's Enterprise & Design exists to assist students in developing their agency, efficacy, and passions while gaining valuable real-world and academic skills so they can succeed in a world of rapid and constant change.
Modeled after the Iowa BIG program, RP E&D offers a unique curriculum designed to help students have a voice and choice in their own learning journey as well as an opportunity for them to discover and develop their gifts, talents and interests. Student learning is done predominantly through real-world projects regarding topics in which they are passionate.
Students engage in a variety of real-world, client-connected projects that allow them to apply gained-knowledge to real-world problems.

With the CAPS program, juniors and seniors in high school fast forward into their future and are fully immersed in a professional culture solving real world problems using industry standard tools, and are mentored by actual employers, all while receiving high school and college credit.

Serving thousands of credit and non-credit students, Metropolitan Community College is Kansas City's headquarters for solid technical education. In addition, the campus provides vital business services and has forged strong partnerships with employers. The campus, near I-435 and Front Street, houses state-of-the-art labs for providing hands-on training for its many technical programs.
This innovative program offers high school students a way to accelerate the time it takes to earn a college degree in addition to working in a high-demand internship. Participating in one of the Missouri Innovation Campus (MIC) programs, students will be on track to earn a bachelor's degree just two years after graduating from high school. The MIC is a progressive initiative by the University of Central Missouri (UCM), Metropolitan Community College (MCC), the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District, community organizations and businesses partners.
Summit Technology Academy (STA)
Summit Technology Academy is a shared campus of junior and senior students who come together for a half-day program as an extension of their home high school. STA is a career-focused academy designed to prepare students for tomorrow's professional workforce.
Located 20 miles from Kansas City, UCM-Lee's Summit offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as professional education. We give professionals a pathway to their next career change, offering everything from entry-level industry recognized credentials to continuing education units (CEUs).
As the state’s principal workforce development program, Missouri One Start provides businesses with comprehensive pre-employment and customized training solutions. The Missouri One Start Network has the resources to meet each business’s unique needs.
