RAYMORE, MO (June 29, 2026) – From July 1-3, 2026, Contractor CAM, LLC will be performing an asphalt rejuvenation project on North Sunset Lane from 58 Highway to the north end of the street and on Ward Road from 58 Highway to the Gore Road intersection. Due to the extreme heat in the forecast, the City is allowing the contractor to mobilize starting at 5 a.m. and begin work around 6 a.m. for this project.
This rolling operation restores important oils to the asphalt surface to seal the pavement, protecting it from the elements and extending the lifespan of the roadway.
- Advance warning signs and traffic control devices will be established ahead of the active work area.
- Flaggers will control alternating traffic through the work zone.
- Reclamite, a pavement sealant, will be applied utilizing a distributor truck and supporting equipment.
- Sand blotter material will be applied as required by project specifications.
- Traffic will be released through the treated area once conditions are suitable for vehicle travel.
- The work zone and associated traffic control devices will advance as operations progress.
