RAYMORE, MO – Newly elected Ward 1 Councilmember Josh McDonald, Ward 2 Councilmember Thomas Circo, Ward 3 Councilmember Jay Holman and Ward 4 Councilmember Jeremy Roe were sworn in at the Raymore City Council regular meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026. 

Outgoing Ward 1 Councilmember Brian Mills and Ward 4 Councilmember Sonja Abdelgawad were recognized for their service on the City Council. Mills served a two-year term and Abdelgawad had been a member of the City Council since 2012.

After the regular meeting concluded, a special meeting was called to order with the new members of the governing body. 

Mayor Kristofer Turnbow presented proclamations for National Animal Care and Control Appreciation Week and National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, both running from April 12-18.
