RAYMORE, MO – On Thursday, April 9, Parade of Hearts volunteers placed Raymore’s two sculptures in their designated locations at Price Chopper, 900 W. Foxwood Dr., and T.B. Hanna Station, 214 S. Washington St.

HEART OF THE GAME by artist Sharyl Salmonson (Art by Sheryl) is on display at Price Chopper along the north side of 58 Highway.
“We are a big baseball family and I thought it would capture the spirit of our hometown team to make a heart devoted to baseball!” Salmonson explained. She is a watercolor artist from Lawrence, KS.

Blooming Afternoon by artist Ian Barbaglia is on display at T.B Hanna Station on the east side of the park near the flagpole. According to the artist, the design is “heavily inspired by Loose Park, with the focus being centered on the fountains in the pond and the rose garden.”
