RAYMORE, MO (Feb. 20, 2026) – The Missouri Department of Conservation stocked a few hundred more rainbow trout at Hawk Ridge Park's Johnston Lake this week. 

A Missouri fishing license is required for all fishers between 15 and 64 years of age and trout permits are required if trout are kept. The daily limit is four trout. 

If an angler is lucky enough to catch a tagged trout, the tag can be turned in for a Walmart gift card at the Raymore Parks & Recreation office at Centerview, 227 Municipal Cir., 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Park visitors are encouraged to avoid leaving litter behind to keep the lake and park clean.

A paved walking trail wraps around the 12-acre lake, with an accessible fishing dock and bridge. Hawk Ridge Park is open daily from dawn to 11 p.m. and is located at 701 Johnston Pkwy.
