Mayor Turnbow recognizes retiring Price Chopper manager Ray Tidwell

RAYMORE, MO - Mayor Kris Turnbow recently recognized longtime Price Chopper Manager Ray Tidwell for his extraordinary service to the community, presenting him with a gift of City of Raymore challenge coins in appreciation of his career and impact. tidwell-ray-pricechopper-mayor-retirement

Tidwell dedicated 15 years to serving Raymore as store manager and an impressive 45 years overall with Price Chopper. During that time, he helped ensure the Raymore Price Chopper was more than just a grocery store—it became a welcoming community gathering place where neighbors felt known, supported and valued.

“Ray didn’t just manage a store,” Mayor Turnbow said. “He built relationships, supported his employees and made sure families felt welcome every time they walked through the doors. Raymore is better because of his steady leadership and genuine care for people.”

Throughout his career, Tidwell was known for his integrity, consistency and commitment to customer service. His leadership positively impacted countless residents and employees, leaving a lasting impression on the Raymore community.

As Tidwell enters a well-earned retirement, the City of Raymore extends its sincere gratitude and best wishes, thanking him for his decades of service to Price Chopper and 15 years of dedication to the Raymore community.
