RAYMORE, MO (Nov. 14, 2025) – Community Blood Center (CBC) is the primary provider of blood to more than 70 hospitals across Missouri and Kansas. Join CBC and the City of Raymore to donate lifesaving blood on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the second annual Badges & Boots Blood Drive at Centerview, 227 Municipal Cir.
Donors will receive a Battle of the Badges T-shirt and will be able to vote for either Raymore Police or South Metro Fire in a friendly competition for bragging rights. The agency with the most votes gets to keep a traveling turkey trophy for the next year. Raymore Police won last year–will South Metro be able to beat them out this year? Help decide with your donation and vote.
All donors will also be entered into a drawing to win a Chiefs 60x70” plaid sherpa blanket or a Chiefs light up ceramic LED Christmas tree. CBC will conduct the drawing two days after the drive and Raymore Communications Director Melissa Harmer will contact the winners via email.
Every day, nearly 600 donations are needed to meet hospital demand in the Greater Kansas City region. Blood has a short shelf life and must be constantly replenished to ensure it’s available when and where it’s needed. Just one hour of your time can help save up to three lives.
