RAYMORE, MO - Residents who graduated from the City's annual Civic Leadership Academy were recognized at the City Council meeting on Oct. 27. 
"I am grateful to each one of our participants for choosing to spend the last five Thursday nights committed to learning more about how our City government operates and what it takes to provide services to our community," Communications Director Melissa Harmer said during the certificate presentation.
13 residents completed the 5-week course and eight were present at the City Council meeting. Mayor Kris Turnbow presented certificates to Bill Srp, Catherine Alegre, Kathy Graves, Gary Graves, Yvette Sabur, Danielle Manson, Katie Welch and Vickie White. Lashaya Vinson, Susan Burdge, Bryon Boeh, Linda Trout and Mikolas Melius also completed the program.
