RAYMORE, MO (Sept. 16, 2025) – Missouri Good Neighbor Week is all about building stronger, friendlier and more connected communities. Raymore was recognized as a Most Neighborly City runner-up in 2024, and is proud to join in the celebration again this year! gnw-raymore-logo

Since 2022, Missouri Good Neighbor Week has been observed annually from Sept. 28 through Oct. 4. The week was founded with the purpose of encouraging Missouri citizens to “participate in events and activities to establish connections with their neighbors.” In today’s busy world, it can be easy to overlook the power of a friendly wave, a shared conversation or a simple act of kindness, but those small gestures can build a stronger, safer and more connected community for all.

Here in Raymore, we’re embracing the spirit of Missouri Good Neighbor Week with two events designed to help neighbors meet, connect and enjoy time together:

Coffee with a Cop, Wednesday, Oct. 1, 7-9 a.m.

Have a friendly chat with officers from the Raymore Police Department at various coffee spots in town. Get to know your local law enforcement who serve the community every day. Check www.raymore.com/calendar for participating locations.

Trucktoberfest, Friday, Oct. 3, 6-8 p.m. at T.B. Hanna Station

Wrap up the week with one of Raymore’s favorite fall traditions! Trucktoberfest brings together a delicious lineup of food trucks, live music, lawn games and more.

Take part in Missouri Good Neighbor Week by attending a community event, introducing yourself to a new neighbor or simply taking a moment to show kindness to those around you. Even the smallest acts can have a big impact.

Remember to report your acts of neighboring and nominate your engaged neighbors at missourigoodneighborweek.com. Let’s come together to show what it really means to be a good neighbor. Join us in making Raymore a place where everyone feels welcome, supported and connected.
