RAYMORE, MO (July 1, 2025) – Lt. Joseph German of the Raymore Police Department has been promoted to Captain. 

Capt. German has served 14 of his 21 years in law enforcement with the Raymore Police Department. 

“I grew up in this community and I’m honored to continue serving here in this new capacity,” German said.

German assumes the position previously held by Capt. Aly Abdelgawad, who recently accepted a position at the Belton Police Department after more than two decades of service with the Raymore Police Department.
