Important message regarding citywide trash service
UPDATE 07-12-2019: The residential waste contract ends with Jim's Disposal at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. Please read the following message for an important update:
Constable Sanitation starts residential trash and yard waste service in Raymore on Monday, July 15. Please note that recycling service does not start until the first week of August. If you have not opted out of recycling, please hold on to your recycling until your first pickup day of August.
If trash in your Jim's Disposal cart is not picked up by Jim's Disposal before 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 14, Constable Sanitation will be picking up trash from Jim's containers in addition to picking up trash in the new Raymore carts on your first day of service the week of July 15.
If recycling in your Jim's Disposal recycling cart is not picked up by Jim's Disposal before 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 14, you may either bag your recycling as regular trash and put the bagged trash in your Raymore trash cart or transfer it to your Raymore recycling cart* if you wish to hold on to it until recycling service begins again in Raymore the first week of August.
*If you have contacted us to opt out of the recycling program, any leftover recycling that Jim's does not pick up by Sunday evening will need to be bagged and disposed of as trash.
View the interactive map to see your trash pickup day with Constable Sanitation. The map is easier to view on a laptop or desktop. Viewing on mobile is possible, but harder to navigate.
LEAVE YOUR EMPTY JIM'S DISPOSAL TRASH AND RECYCLING CARTS AT THE CURB. JIM'S DISPOSAL HAS CONTRACTED A COMPANY TO PICK THEM UP OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. THE CONTRACTOR IS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY TO RETRIEVE CARTS PLACED BY GARAGES OR HOMES. THE CARTS MUST BE AT THE STREET.
Public Works employees are currently making cart swaps, pickups and drop-offs to many, many homes throughout the City. If you have already requested a cart pickup or size swap, please be patient as they work as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible to complete those requests. We cannot take additional requests for 65-gallon trash carts at this time.
By default, each residence is automatically enrolled in the recycling program. If you do not wish to recycle, contact Constable Sanitation at 816-535-2020 to opt out of the recycling program or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your address and phone number.
