Take advantage of a free car seat safety check on Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 2-4p.m. at the Raymore Police Department parking lot (south side of City Hall in the lower parking lot).

Join our Raymore Police officers, who are nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, and have peace of mind that your child is safely and properly secured in your vehicle.

At checkup events, CPS Technician teams work with and teach caregivers the basics of correct selection, direction, location, installation and harnessing of car seats, booster seats and seat belts. These events also provide opportunities to detect unsafe car seats and booster seats, such as recalls and damaged or missing parts and labels.
