The Raymore Arts Commission offers a variety of opportunities for our residents to engage in the arts. Annual events include the Power of Perspectives Art Competition each April, a concert series that runs from June through October, a new children's art event in August called the Station Stop Art Party, the new Raymore Chili Cook-Off debuting in October 2025, and the Holiday Sing Along each December. Join the Raymore Arts Commission for a night of reggae with 77 Jefferson, Skillinjah, Riddim Doctor and House of Dub at 7 p.m., Friday, July 10 at the Hawk Ridge Park Amphitheater.
Admission is free! Bring your own chairs or blankets. Coolers are allowed. Parking is encouraged at the larger parking lot on the park's east side on Sunset Lane, just south of 163rd Street. (GPS coordinates: 38.821030, -94.465049)
Reminder: Motorized vehicles, including e-bikes, e-scooters, golf carts, UTVs and ATVs are not allowed in Raymore parks or on park trails. Motorized vehicles of this type are restricted to the parking lot. This ordinance excludes motorized vehicles designed for and used solely by a mobility impaired person.
