17th National Drug Take Back Day - Raymore

The Raymore Police Department is once again hosting a free drug take back event! Safely dispose of your unwanted and expired medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Raymore Police Department (100 Municipal Circle, south, lower side of City Hall) and the lobby of the Raymore Price Chopper.

Keep unwanted medications out of the wrong hands and out of our precious waterways by disposing of them safely and responsibly! The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Raymore PD collected 450 pounds of unwanted medications at the October 2018 Drug Take Back Day.

More than 457 tons of medications were collected across the country on the Oct. 27, 2018 National Drug Take Back Day and nearly 5,500 tons (10,878,950 pounds!) of unwanted and expired prescription medications have been collected since the first National Drug Take Back Day in the fall of 2010.
