Raymore's population has continued to steadily increase over the last 30 years with a projected population totaling over 20,000 by the year 2010. The 2000 U.S. Census reported a total population of 11,146; and in 2009, Raymore's estimated population was 18,594. |
Residential Growth
In July, 2007 Forbes magazine ranked Raymore as the 52nd fastest growing suburb in the United States. Raymore's growth remained steady during 2009 despite the slower economy and continued to rank in the top eight communities within the KC-Missouri Metro Area based on monthly residential building rates. In 2009, Raymore issued 39% of all building permits in Cass County. |
