Summer Scene

Join us at Raymore's third annual arts and music festival Saturday, June 9, 2018, 4-10 p.m.

We don’t just want to appreciate the arts at Raymore’s Summer Scene, we aim to interact with them firsthand. We believe art is supposed to be touched, moved, tasted and experienced.

Come join us! Draw on our enormous chalk boards, stay cool in the mist tent, take part in our community art project, peruse and purchase handcrafted art from local artists, watch artist demonstrations, participate in arts and crafts for all ages, indulge in culinary creations from our food trucks and enjoy live entertainment.

Interested in being an exhibitor? We're accepting artist applications now! Learn more here.

Pop-up Art

Join the Raymore Arts Commission for its annual Pop-Up Art Project. We want you to show off your creative side in a fun and relaxing way. EVERYONE is invited to decorate, paint, mold, enhance and add their own twist to the classic adirondack chair.

The big reveal will be at the Summer Scene arts & music festival June 9, 2018. All of the chairs will be on display in T.B. Hanna Station where visitors can vote on their favorite. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and interesting designs!

Participation is free. All you need is to purchase a chair. Fill out the form at www.Raymore.com/PopUpArt to register and sign up for this fun, creative program!

Food

You will want to build up your appetite for this event as we have invited Shivers Ice House, Between 2 Buns by the Carlsons and Bop N Bowl food trucks to serve up refreshing culinary creations. Vendors will be serving from 4-10pm.

Music/Dance/Theater

It would not be a festival without some amazing music, dance and drama! Enjoy live entertainment from StoneLion Puppet Theatre, The Jack Snaps Family Band, participate in a free hip-hop dance class and enjoy our headliner, local band Blown Cover!

Raymore's Southland Conservatory of Music will offer an instrument petting zoo from 4-6 p.m. Children of all ages will be able to touch, hold, discover and play a variety of instruments.
