Current Development Projects
Listed below are projects currently under review or recently approved by the City.
Cunningham at Creekmoor Second Plat
Cooper Land Development Inc. filed an application for final plat approval for Cunningham at Creekmoor Second Plat, a 36-lot single-family subdivision proposed for the southwest corner of 155th Street and North Madison Street. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request. City Council will consider the request on 1st reading at its June 26, 2017 meeting.
A request to vacate the Cunningham First Plat has also been filed to allow for the reconfiguration of the planned street and lots in the first phase. The City Council will consider this request on 1st reading at its June 26, 2017 meeting.
Municipal Circle Traffic Flow Change
A request to modify the traffic flow pattern of Municipal Circle from a two-way flow to a counterclockwise one-was flow, with angle parking spaces, will be considered by the Planning Commission at its June 20 meeting.
Variance - 411 S. Fox Ridge Drive
Brackman Construction, on behalf of Henry and Sharon Parys, is requesting a variance to reduce the minimum rear yard setback required for a covered rear deck by six feet from thirty feet down to twenty-four feet. The Board of Adjustment will consider the request at its June 20 meeting.
Variance - 308 E. Walnut Street
Todd Glidewell, owner of G & G Storage LLC, is request a variance to reduce the minimum side yard setback requirement from twenty feet down to ten feet for self-storage units proposed for the property. The Board of Adjustment will consider the request at its June 20 meeting.
Raymore Activity Center Site Plan, Recreation Park
City staff is requesting site plan approval for the 16,000 square foot activity center proposed for the northwest corner of Recreation Park. The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the request at its Tuesday, November 15, 2016 meeting.
Building and Development Code Changes Recently Approved/Under Review
Building Code Amendment
City staff is requesting to add the following language to Section 500.090A of the Building Code:
"No building permit shall be issued to a person, firm or corporation that is delinquent on payment of fees and charges due to the City for any property in the City. Additionally, if a fee or charge is due to the City for service to, or work upon, the property for which a building permit is requested, no permit shall be issued until full payment is received."
City Council will consider the request at its June 26 meeting.
